If you're trying to use Samsung Gear Fit through Gear Fit manager app on your Samsung Galaxy S5 smartphone but you're not sure how, here's a simple guide for you to refer to.

First things first. You need to download and install Gear Fit Manager application for you to use it on your phone. You can get it from Samsung Apps or going to this site url: apps.samsung.com/gearfit. Just follow the on-screen instructions to complete the download and installation procedures.

Once you've installed Gear Fit Manager on your Galaxy S5, you may now start defining your favorite apps for the Samsung Gear Fit, set up notification options and configure settings from one location.

Follow these steps to use and customize Gear Fit Manager on your GS 5 handset:

1. Touch Apps from the Home screen.

2. Touch Gear Fit Manager.

3.  Under Gear Fit Manager main screen, scroll to and touch Home screen styler.

// Gear Fit Home screen style

4. Under Home screen styler, you'll see the Wallpapers, Clock and Layout tabs. Touch the Wallpapers tab.

5. Touch to select a wallpaper to apply it on your Gear Fit. After you make your selection, the Gear Fit will update.

6. Now touch the Clock tab.

7. Choose your preferred clock style to use. Just touch on your desired clock style and the Gear Fit will update your changes.

8. After selecting your Clock style, touch the Layout tab.

9. Under Layout tab, you can choose which layout order you want for your Gear Fit. You can rearrange the icons on your Gear Fit with just a simple touch and hold on an icon, and then drag it to your desired location.

10. Once you're done arranging the icons for your Gear Fit layout, touch Done to save the new layout you made.

11. Go back to the Gear Fit Manager main screen by touching the Back key on your phone.

//Gear Fit Notifications

12. To specify which notifications to show on your Gear Fit, touch Notifications under Gear Fit Manager main screen. You can choose to view your phone's incoming calls, new emails, missed calls, calendar events and more, depending on how you configure the Notifications.

Note:
You may need to touch the slider next to Notifications to enable or turn the feature ON. Put a check mark next to each item you would want to assign a notification to on your Gear Fit.

Once done, you may go back to the Gear Fit Manager main screen by touching the Back key.

When your phone is in standby mode and a new notification is received, the notification should now display on your Gear Fit screen.
