Clear Cache/Cookies on HTC One M8

The cache saves or stores files for faster web browsing. Clearing the cache can help resolve certain issues and likewise save space on your device.

Cookies refer to files that store information and allow websites to remember your preferences.

Following are the step-by-step processes on how to clear cache/cookies on the all new HTC One M8 Android smartphone. Read on to learn more.

1. From the Home screen, touch the Browser icon to begin with. Doing so will get you to the default browser on your phone.

2. Touch the Menu icon (represented by three vertical dots at the upper right corner of the screen).

3. Touch to select Settings from the list of available menu items.

4. Touch Privacy & Security under Settings screen.

5. Touch Clear Cache to clear locally cached contents and databases.

6. Touch OK from to initiate deletion of locally cached content and databases.

7. Touch Clear all Cookie data to clear all browser cookies.

8. Touch OK to initiate deletion of all cookies.

You now have successfully cleared cache and cookies on your HTC One M8.
