Changing Sync Settings on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 in Five Easy Steps

Getting started:

1. Go to your device's Home screen and tap on Apps to begin with.

2. Tao on Settings to continue.

3. Tap on Accounts and Sync option under the Settings menu.

4. You will then be prompted with the Accounts and Sync options to configure. Locate and tap the desired account you want to configure or change settings on.

5. The Accounts and sync settings will show up next. Tap to check or uncheck the Data synchronization items you preferred. Check the box to enable account syncing on the item, otherwise uncheck the box next to Data and Synchronization option.

You just have configured or changed the account synchronization settings on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 device.

Syncing Google Account on Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

If you choose to sync your Google account on your Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 device, follow these steps:

1. Tap Apps from the home screen.

2. Tap Settings to continue.

3. Tap Accounts and Sync to see the list of available accounts to sync on your device.

4. If Google is not in the list, tap Add account.

5. Tap Google Accounts to proceed.

6. In case you still don't have a Google account, tap Create account. If you already have an existing Google account and you want to use it to sync on your Samsung tablet, just enter the Email address and Password and then tap Sign In.

Hint:
Your Gmail (Google email) address is also considered a Google account.

7. Tap to check or uncheck Keep this device backed up with my Google account, as you prefer, and then tap Done.

8. You should now have your Google account added in the list. If you want to change the synchronization settings, just tap the Google account to configure certain options.

9. Tap to check or uncheck the Data synchronization options, as you prefer, and then tap the Back icon once done.

You should now have successfully set up Google synchronization on your Samsung tablet.
