The Samsung Galaxy S5 comes packed with My Places feature, which provides users relevant information and services based on the owner's location. This post will guide you through setting up My Places on your phone to maximize its functionality.

Step 1: From the Home screen, tap the Applications icon.

Step 2: Touch the Settings app and then scroll down a little bit to find Location.

Step 3: Tap the My Places.

Step 4: There are three pre-defined places: Home, Work and Car. If you want to configure a new place, tap the Add (+) icon on the upper-right corner. For this example, let's choose Home, so tap on it.

Step 5: Now tap Select method.

Step 6: To use GPS information to define this location, choose Map. If you want to define this location by its connection to a Wi-Fi access point or Bluetooth device, tap Wi-Fi and Bluetooth respectively. For this example, let's choose Wi-Fi, and then tap OK.

Step 7: Touch the SSID or name of your Wi-Fi network. Touch Done.

That's it! My Places has already been configured on your new Samsung Galaxy S5. Enjoy!
